Meet Kati Miller and Ali Moody, co-founders of Caliber Fine Properties. Their boutique real estate firm located in Cashiers, North Carolina specializes in fine properties throughout Cashiers, Highlands, Glenville, and Sapphire Valley, NC. Through years of well-established sales experience, their team provides all types of brokerage services, negotiate new construction projects, and provide real estate insight and solutions to developers and investors.


Not your average real estate firm, Caliber Fine Properties was founded in 2019 on two simple principles: quality of character and the highest degree of excellence and ability. Through Kati and Ali’s dedication in the real estate markets surrounding Cashiers and Highlands, NC, they have perfected the precision it takes to hit the target when it comes to living the best life on the Plateau!
Kati and Ali together bring over 40 years combined experience listing and selling property in luxury communities was the foundation to establish Caliber. They’ve earned their stripes – well-connected with their finger on the pulse, their niche is a focus on high-end clubs and communities. Ali Moody brings two decades of experience in the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau real estate and construction industry. A native North Carolinian from Concord, she graduated from Western Carolina University in 2001 with degrees in Public Relations and Sociology. She then made the nearby Highlands-Cashiers Plateau her home. Soon after, she was determined to focus her industry experiences and management talents solely on real estate.
Ali’s years in the market give her a unique perspective on home and property values all over Cashiers, Glenville, Sapphire, and Highlands. She delivers clear market analysis, savvy investment insight, and an innovative marketing approach individualized for every client.
Ali and her counterpart, Kati Miller, work together as team and pride themselves on providing the highest level of customer service to their clients. Together, they represent the most sought-after residential real estate in Western North Carolina. Their two-man team is a well-oiled machine that can tackle big projects with long range goals without sacrificing the individualized attention and energized representation that Caliber Fine Properties was founded upon.

market. Ali has also earned the Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) designation from the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

Kati Miller recently launched Caliber Fine Properties in Cashiers, North Carolina, with a keen understanding of the intricacies of the fields of real estate and a deep appreciation for this corner of Western North Carolina and its people.
Kati was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, and graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Communications. After college, she took a position in banking, serving as branch manager for First Union Bank, which was later acquired by Wachovia. After several years in banking, Kati decided to begin her real estate career in Charlotte with Pappas Properties. There she helped launch a mixed-use community in the Queen City’s Uptown neighborhood marketing luxury condominiums. Kati credits that experience with giving her the skills and drive to relocate to Cashiers and help launch Old Cashiers Realty following the economic downturn of 2008.
Kati’s dedication to discreet and ethical representation of buyers and sellers has been a cornerstone to building her reputation as a top producer in the Highlands-Cashiers market. Kati also serves as Sales Director at Mountaintop Golf & Lake Club representing the community in Real Estate transactions. “I love this business because I truly love making people happy,” she explains. “I like taking care of people, solving problems and negotiating to get the best price for both buyers and sellers. Negotiating is all about give-and-take, and I feel like I have a common-sense and organic approach to helping buyers and sellers put their emotions aside and get deals done.”
In addition to a busy career, Kati is married with two children, Charlotte and Thomas, who attend Summit Charter School. Her husband, Cory, recently launched his own home building company and is one of the preferred builders at GlenCove. Throughout her life, Kati has been passionate about serving others, as evidenced by the arc of her career and the care that she took to find a dynamic community to raise her children and open a Real Estate Firm. “I want people to know that I truly have their best interests at heart and that I live by the Golden Rule: It’s more important to me that someone have an awesome experience than to make a sale.”
